This program is designed for 12-17 year olds who are interested in trying out sailing in a non-competitive, social and fun setting. OutThere Sailing encourages teenagers of all skill levels to spend time with friends in a new and exciting environment. We will utilise a wide variety of boats including Keelboats, Dinghies and Powerboats during this program. The aim of the program is to have fun, hang out with friends and learn new skills. The OutThere Sailing program is delivered by qualified Australian Sailing Instructors.
Overview
This is an OutThere Sailing combined course (a combination of OutThere Sailing 1, 2, 3). The combined course enables individual progression accross its duration, whilst allowing friends to remain together.
OutThere Sailing will always be about fun, social engagement and safety.
Prerequisites
Water confident.
Who should do this course?
This course is designed for participants who are 12-17 years-old looking to try a new activity, have some fun and engage with others whilst sailing.
Course Outcome
By the end of the OutThere Sailing combined course, the participants will achieve the standards of either OutThere Sailing 1, 2, or 3 and have had a lot of FUN with friends!
