At approximately 85 nm (Div. 1 & 3) the Buchanan Island Race is the longest of the 2018 Short Offshore Series taking competitors from the start at E Buoy to the entrance to Apsley Strait, then to Marsh Shoal and returning to Fannie Bay.
Div. 4 boats compete over a shorter course, which does not include the Marsh Shoal turning mark.
