Have you completed a sailing course at DSC or another Discover Sailing center? Are you eager to get out on the water to practice your skills?

Due to popular demand we will now be running Sunday Dinghy Sailing Club at The Darwin Sailing Club. This is a chance for course graduates to get out on the water in a safe and supervised environment. Our experienced instructors will be on hand in a rescue boat, and can provide coaching and support to help you sail around a marked course with a short “fun race” at the end. Should you wish to focus on any skills or techniques in particular, or need to tick off final competencies in order to complete an Australian Sailing dinghy course, please speak to our instructors before you launch and they can coach you through anything you wish to focus on.

No crew? No problem! You can request to join our Facebook Group where you can connect with others to hire double handed boats together.

Please register no later than 5pm on Friday to reserve your spot for Sunday morning.

Price:
One session: $35
The above price includes dinghy hire for the session, please find the Boat Hire Application form on the website and send to the office in advance. Dinghies and registrations will be allocated on a “first in, best dressed” basis, so be sure to register well in advance to secure your place and your boat.
Participants may use a boat hire voucher + $15.

Prerequisites:
Tackers 3 / Start Sailing 2 / Start Helming (with dinghy conversion course).

Date and Time:
Sunday mornings, 9.30am – 12.00pm (excluding Sundays with morning club racing).
