Are you not quite ready to move up to the next level of Tackers? Want to practice your skills a little more before moving into a new syllabus? Or simply want to spend more time on the water in a less structured environment without a set curriculum? Then this is for you!
Designed to give kids the opportunity to spend more time on the water in an unstructured environment, with a focus on games and fun as opposed to a set Tackers syllabus. Kids can get their confidence up by getting water time in optis and have the opportunity to meet other kids of all ages and experience levels.
Weekly on Tuesdays from 4-6pm.
Completed or are currently enrolled in Tackers 2.
Depending on what level of tackers your child has completed we recommend they either continue to do the tackers courses or if they have passed tackers 3, they can then move onto Minnow and Cadet Squad, were they are coached to race their own boat and all things looking after a boat.
Note: This is not an Australian Sailing accredited course and instead is conducted by the school/club/organisation, outside of the Australian Sailing framework.
