Dapto Hockey Club was established in 1978 we encourage good sportsmanship in victory and defeat, team spirit and responsible behaviour.
Local teachers Vic and Leslie East with David Thompson, started the Dapto Hockey Club in 1978. Since then, it has become one of the most prominent hockey clubs on the South Coast and Illawarra. Dapto Hockey Club Junior Simon Beaton eventually represented Australia at Indoor Hockey, playing against Austria as well as at World Cups and Tri Nations tournaments, playing against England and Canada.
We field teams across the junior, womens and mens competitions and we welcome both male and female players of all ages and ability. There is an executive and general committee that assists in all aspects of running the club.
We are looking forward to a fun and successful 2024 season.
