Great news! The Gippy Gallivant has been rescheduled.

As you know Covid brought many plans to an abrupt halt earlier this year and unfortunately the Gallivant was among the many things that were put on hold. Over the intervening months many things have changed and one of those is that there is now a new dragon boat club located in Sale, which is the venue for the Gallivant. DA Gippsland Waratahs have chosen to no longer host the Gallivant so the new club, the Gippsland Water Dragons, have taken over the running of the event. However, the organising committee remains the same. So the activities and planning are essentially the same.

After such a difficult few months we know that everyone is looking forward to some fun events and the Gallivant should fit the bill! So mark down Saturday April 10^th 2020 in your calendars to come and join us for a fun social paddle on our beautiful Gippsland waterways.

Costs remain the same at $80 per head which includes the day's paddling activities, morning tea, picnic lunch and an evening meal at a Sale venue. Non paddlers can join us for the evening meal for a separate payment and there is a great choice of non paddling activities for them if they want a weekend away as well.

Unfortunately we were unable to organise a bulk transfer of those payments that had been left with the Waratahs and I apologise for any inconvenience this might cause you. However, you can organise a refund and then make payment to us (or just request a transfer directly to us. Please let us know if you choose this option.)

I realise that some people will still have some uncertainty as to whether future events will actually take place and obviously none of us can guarantee what the future holds. However, now the event is being run exclusively by the Water Dragons I can guarantee that the event will be held, and that if any alterations are made you will be able to change to a new date or receive a refund without any problems.
