Ho Ho Ho DAM Busters!
Greetings one and all,
We have been searching high and low to find a place where we can get together for Christmas.
As you may be aware, we have many rules that dictate what we can and cannot do indoors.. and standing up mingling is a big one and also at present a 2-hour limit.
This does not lend itself to a DAM Busters Christmas function at all... we have not seen each other in so long that we must have room to mingle with jingle
To that point, we should do an outdoors afternoon soiree ..
DATE: Sunday 20th December
TIME: 3.30pm
LOCATION: Howe Crescent Reserve South Melbourne (a small shady park in South Melbourne) it is opposite Lamaros pub and the parking is easy and available.

I am checking again, though last time I was there, you could buy take away drinks from the pub i.e., Aperol Spritz etc
Also, light rail in close by as well for those who don't wish to drive
we shall have tables and ice chest to keep drinks cold and a few games of Petanque or Finsk etc
If it's a less than perfect day we can set up the Marquee for too much sun, too much rain or wind.
I can get there early and set up an area for us
I have asked Ali to put this up on REVSport as we need RSVPs, partners as well
We have checked in with Santa and unfortunately, he won’t be attending this year as he is extremely busy though I hear we may have some very special guests.
Keep your eyes and ears on the lookout as you don’t ever know who will show their face
Can’t wait to see you all on the lawn. PS long range weather says it should be a beautiful afternoon.
