Flamin’ Dragons Port Macquarie Regatta, Rocks Ferry Reserve, Wauchope on 11-12 June 2022.
Flamin' Dragons Port Macquarie is an Incorporated Dragon Boat Club on the Mid-North Coast of NSW.
On Saturday, competitors undertook two kilometre racing up the river and around the island at Rocks Ferry Reserve Wauchope, NSW. On Sunday, the main events were 200 metre sprints. Major sponsors Port Macquarie Hastings Council delivered 300 tonne of sand to the beach area which allowed the regatta to go ahead - by covering the residue of mud from the latest flood that could have cancelled this event.
