After co-captaining Team CYSM Sea Dragons through race season 2016/17, with significant success at the state and national championships (as well as representing Team Victoria), Carlos Diz has now set his sights on his wedding to the beautiful Mandy Li and international success with the Australian national team - the Auroras. 

Whilst the news of his Aurora selection was announced at the start of this year, Carlos was formally presented his Auroras jersey following AusChamps2017 in Albury Wodonga. 

This achievement is on the back of tremendous commitment and perseverance to his training. His servant leadership to the Sea Dragons has been instrumental in our club’s maturation as a competitive club of reckoning. He is an asset and we are sure that he will do his part in propelling Australia to the top of the leader table. 

On behalf of all the team, I’d like to say how very proud we are of all that Carlos has accomplished and wish him and Mandy all the blessings of married life and to his international campaign at the 13th World Nations Championships in Kunming China this coming October.
