Our team through a rookie's eyes

Published Sun 24 Apr 2016

Club male rookie of season 2015/16, Eric Cham (aka Hing Hshen), reflects back on his journey with Team CYSM Sea Dragons and shares it with us in a way that only he can - through imagery, videography and sound. There is emotion and there is motivation. Take a look for yourself.

"Thank you to everyone who came for the End of Season party last night. It was such joy and a proud way to conclude our 2015/16 dragon boat season. It took me a while to come up with this concept on how to present us as a team. Rain, wind or shine, we paddle as a team and train as a team on water or land.

When you watch this spare a moment to look back at how hard and far we have come during all regattas. We have lots of room to improve and we certainly will beat the other teams.

At least I managed to get Carlos teary at the end, which is how I felt looking back from my first day at training; my first race at Melbourne Cup until our Victoria Titles. Hope this video will push you guys to train harder or motivate you to paddle with us.

Once again, thank you all CYSM Sea Dragons committee for bringing the party together. For those who missed out, here is a look back of what we achieved as a team in ther previous season.

Proud to be with the Sea Dragons team."
