Good Luck Captain Palmy, our Aurora!

Today the Community Hub at the Dock was brimming with energy. Why you ask? The Auroras are here! More than 100 Auroras from all divisions (Premiers, Senior A, Senior B and Senior C) flew interstate to Melbourne for one last training camp before heading off to the IDBF 13th World Nations Championships being held in Dianchi Lake, Kunming, China from 18-23 October 2017.

It is with great pleasure to have our very own Captain Palmy be a part of The Auroras team. His determination and commitment both on the water (at training sessions) and off the water (at the gym) has given him this fantastic opportunity, to represent Australia in a national dragon boat competition.

On behalf of the CYSM Sea Dragons, we would like to thank you Palmy for all your dedication to our team, to our sport and to our country. We wish you and The Auroras all the best on your journey to China and hope that you find success at the championship. Make us proud Captain!
