​We were out early on Sunday morning as the team was responsible (with the Dragon Masters) for bump in, preparing the boats for the day’s races and took care of business in the evening with a smooth bump out. So lovely to have finally moved the boats into the new community boat hub. 

We fielded a Premier Mixed team of 18 paddlers and essentially a mixed Premier Open team for the 500 m races. We were competitive in our heats and repechages, even storming home to a convincing WIN in the Mixed repechage. Making the finals for this race, we showed guts and just narrowly missed out on a trophy placing.

Well done to everyone who participated. Give yourselves a BIG pat on the back for surprising the other teams yet AGAIN!!

Thank you for your continuous support throughout the day, whether it be a friendly "go team!" on the pontoon, keeping us hydrated between our no break races or taking all the happy snaps on our behalf. It was really nice seeing a friendly and familiar face between hectic races. You guys helped make yesterday’s back to back to back to back to back racing possible.

Keep up the good work team. We are showing the other dragon boat teams that we are serious contenders!
