BoBing down the Barwon 2019

CYSM Sea dragons took to our first DBV regatta for season 2019/20 with a 5.5 km time trial up and down the Barwon River (Geelong). Confusion with a buoy to mark the exclusion zone led to a extension of the course by another 1 km. This provided us the opportunity to paddle more! Happy to say that we finished in a great time, taking out 1st place for Premier Open 20s in the process. It was also great to have Ollie and Graeme from Albury-Wodonga Warriors don our shirts and join our crew for the day.

Battle on the Barwon 2019

As has become tradition, we all headed down the road to Ocean Grove for the much anticipated CYSM family feast at the Meyer residence. Full stomachs and another experience in the memory bank. Thank you Meyers for your hospitality and warmth as always.
