The ​​CYSM Sea Dragons and friends held its 2015 Xmas party on Sunday 20 December 2015 at the multipurpose room of the Community Hub at the Dock, situated above the new DBV boat hub. The fantastically spacious room offered a great locale, well equipped with kitchen, projectors and a sound system; and not forgetting the lovely balcony overseeing habour views. 

A chinese banquet-style offering was had by all courtesy of catering by Mandy’s parents and grandma. So yummy! No one went hungry and the takeaway left-overs have certainly made for several handsome lunches in the days after.

Thank you to everyone who contributed, especially to Mandy and Carlos who spearheaded the event organisation. Thank you to those who contributed desserts, AV and sound, photography and to everyone who attended and made the night the enjoyable one that it was.

Evil Santa (aka Kris Kringle) was a delight of the night. The thoughtful/creative presents and the present snatching was all so entertaining. A portion of the evening even turned into a post-race analysis session, courtesy of large screen projection of regatta races. Members enthusiastically contributed to the scrutinisation of each others' technique (in fun and jest) and patted each other on the team’s improving cohesion and performances. 

The energy was high and this will certainly help drive our efforts as we see in 2016! Wishing you and your families a happy and safe festive season.
