While full details are yet to be confirmed, the tentative program outline and itinerary is as follows:

2 June 2017 Practice Session / Race Day
2 – 4 June 2017 Race Day
4 June 2017 Celebration Dinner
5 June 2017 Team Departure / Optional tour
To encourage participation, the following hosting package will be provided to the overseas dragon boat teams by the Hong Kong hosts:
- No participation fee
- Free 4 nights hotel accommodation (shared room basis)
- Free local transfer to / from Hong Kong International Airport and hotel
- Free shuttle transfer from hotel to race venue during 2 – 4 June 2017
- Invitation to Celebration Dinner on 4 June 2017 (12 pax for small boat and 28 pax for standard boat)
Kindly note the above hosting package will be on a first come first serve basis. Therefore, if you we would like to take up the opportunity for the hosting package, we will need to make our intentions known early.
As this is an international trip requiring multiple days for travel and the competition itself, with associated time off work and finances required, we ask that all Sea Dragons who would consider attending the championships to express their interest here. Depending on numbers, further work will be put in to realize this trip.
For an idea of what it will be like, check out how our team faired last year in Hong Kong!
