The Marine Academy presents a womens course designed to ensure that you can readily take the helm and successfully get your boat home. Our small group classes, for women only, are designed to build confidence by presenting information in an active, fun, and supportive environment.

Each class is comprised of two parts:a theory session and a practical, on-water session. The specially designed approach we take to educating female boaters helps to build confidence that they can be the ‘Captain’ of their own vessel - no matter how large or small their boat may be.
Cost: $150 for 3 x 2 hour sessions over 3 consecutive weeks.
Times: Commencing Thursday 28 March 2019 from 7pm-9pm, then 4 & 11 April
Session 1: Practical Boat Management
Session 2: Theory + Practice: Navigation & Reading the weather, passage planning.
Session 3: Theory + Practice: points of sail and reading the wind.
