Hi,

Our 2022-23 kicks off on 3rd September.  I hope you are, like me, excited about the prospect of getting back on the water.

When you first visit the Club you will see some significant differences made possible by the work of our volunteers - work that would have been at substantial cost if we had needed to engage paid contractors.  You will also see a significant change in our website - go and have a look.

To prepare the Club for the season there will be a short working bee at 9:00 am Saturday 27th August. Once the Club is prepared you will have the opportunity to learn to launch and retrieve the rescue boats, a sausage sizzle with the day wrapping up with a rules refresh.  It would be great to see you there!

In the next few days you will receive an email from David Loring, our Registrar, with a link to pay your fees for the 2022-23 season. Our Committee met last Wednesday and resolved to increase the adult sailing fee by $20, and hold the junior fee at the 2021-22 rate.  

I'm looking forward to seeing you on 27th August and then on the water for the Melrose Cup.
