Tournament Timetable

9.00am - Mixed Doubles, Family Doubles

10.00am - O30 Doubles, U21 Doubles, O60 Doubles

11.00am - Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles, Division 2 singles

12.00pm - Men's & Women's Singles groups, O70 Singles, Division 4 singles

1.00pm - O50 Singles, Open singles KO, U21 Singles

2.00pm - Division 1, Division 3 singles

3.00pm - O30 Singles, U15 Singles groups

Please ensure that you enter the correct events, as a change to events may incur a $5.00 handling fee per change.

All entries must be paid by the closing date (30th November - 2.30pm)

The Events of the Croydon Closed Championships are only OPEN for Croydon members, or players who have played in a Croydon pennant.

  1. Age Eligibility:

U21 – born in ’03 or later, U15 – born in ’09 or later, O30 – born in ’94 or earlier, O50 - born in '74 or earlier, O60 – born in ‘64 or earlier, O70 - born in '54 or earlier.

  1. Event Eligibility:

Players may only enter if they are Croydon members, or have played in a Croydon pennant in 2024 (there are a few exceptions to this rule)

  1. Event Format:

All Age Singles matches will be played in round-robin groups of 3 with winners advancing to knockout format (for the avoidance of doubt, this format may be altered where there are insufficient or unequal numbers in an event). All other singles & doubles events will be played in the Knockout event. All matches are the best of 5 games.

  1. Player Event Restrictions:

You may play a maximum of 5 events. In your configuration of 5 events, you have the following restrictions/guidelines.

  • Maximum of 3 doubles
  • Can play 2 Division singles (must be consecutive)
  • Can play 2 age events (either Open singles and age group OR 2 age singles)
  1. Division Cut Offs:

These are open to players not rated above the points stated for the particular Division according to the Rating Central Points as of the closing date. Cut-off points for each division are shown below:

Division 1 Max 1900 points                                  Division 2 Max 1600 points

Division 3 Max 1300 points                                   Division 4 Max 1000 points

  1. Time Out:

The Time Out rule shall only apply in Open, Youth and Junior Singles and not in any other event

  1. Refund & “No Show” Policy:

No refunds shall be allowed to players withdrawing during events. Once Events have been finalised, refunds also may not be provided. Players who fail to show and have not paid will be invoiced outstanding amount, which includes any pay on day levies.

  1. Prize Money or Trophies:

All events will have either cash or trophies.

  1. Refusal of Entry:

The Tournament Committee reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse entries by any player, and if the Tournament Committee exercises this discretion, it will notify the player accordingly and refund any monies paid.

  1. Player Forfeit:

This shall be in accordance with TTV Athlete Rankings By-Laws

  1. Submission of Results:

The tournament shall be submitted to Rating Central

  1. Family Doubles:

Any person who is related to you by either blood or marriage (including de facto)
