12:30pm  Mixed Doubles - Open, U21, U19, U17, U15, U13, U11 (may only enter 1 mixed doubles)
 1:30pm  Gender Doubles - Open, U21, U19, U17, U15, U13, U11 (may only enter 1 gender doubles)
 2:30pm  Singles - Knockout from earlier sessions (will play earlier when able to)
 4:00pm  Division Singles (may enter 1 division)

 

All entries must be paid by the closing date (30th May)

The Individual Events of the Metropolitan Championships are only OPEN for players who have qualified for a team.

  1. Age Eligibility: U21 – born in ’04 or later, U19 - born in '06 or later, U17 - born in '08 or later, U15 – born in ’10 or later, U13 - born in '12 or later, U11 - born in '14 or later, U11 - born in 2016 or later

 

  1. Event Eligibility: Players may only enter if they played in singles matches of the team's event

 

  1. Event Format: All Age Singles matches will be played in round-robin groups of 3 with winners advancing to knockout format (for the avoidance of doubt, this format may be altered where there are insufficient or unequal numbers in an event). All other singles & doubles events will be played in the Knockout event. All matches are the best of 5 games.

 

  1. Player Event Restrictions: YPlayers can play a maximum of 2 age singles, 1 mixed doubles, 1 gender doubles & 1 division. The Open singles is classified as a Age Singles.

 

  1. Division Cut-Offs: Events 11 - 15 are open to players not rated above the points stated for the particular Division according to the Rating Central Points as of the closing date. Cut-off points for each division are shown below:

 

Division 1         Max 1900 points                       Division 2   Max 1600 points

Division 3         Max 1200 points                       Division 4   Max 1000 points

 

  1. Time Out: The Time Out rule shall only apply in Age Singles and not in any other event 

 

  1. Refund & “No Show” Policy: No refunds shall be allowed to players withdrawing during events. Once Events have been finalised, refunds also may not be provided. Players who fail to show and have not paid will be invoiced the outstanding amount, which includes any pay-on-day levies.

 

  1. Prize Money or Trophies: All events will have cash distributed based on player numbers in each event or trophies.

 

  1. Refusal of Entry: The Tournament Committee reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse entries by any player, and if the Tournament Committee exercises this discretion, it will notify the player accordingly and refund any monies paid.

 

  1. Player Forfeit: This shall be in accordance with TTV Athlete Rankings By-Laws
