The Metro Championships are being held on June 11 & 12 at the Kilsyth Stadium. Entries are now open for Croydon players wishing to enter and represent Croydon. The Championships comprise both Teams & Individual events. Player need to play in teams to be eligible to play in the individuals.

The Teams format is three-player teams (but we can have 3-5 players per team) where each player plays three singles matches and there is also two doubles played. Each grade will consist of 4 teams, and the teams are played all day Saturday and then morning Sunday.

The teams matches will be played on the Saturday and the Individual tournament on the Sunday. There are State Team Points for all singles events, so for those chasing State Team aspirations, playing individuals is important for you. There is possibility, depending on how many other clubs enter, that your grade could be played at the Dandenong Table Tennis Club - this will be due to us reaching capacity and the requirement for more tables.

The cost for each player to play in the team is $35 each. The cost for individuals ranges between $12-$15 per event.

Regardless of whether you are listed as Croydon, Knox, Kilsyth, Mooroolbark or ICC, you will play under the Croydon name and you will also need to wear a Croydon shirt.
