It was the battle of the sister teams in the Sydney South Hockey Assocation Open Womens Competition, with Anacondas and Gold finishing third & second on the table. Tartans Tasers were named minor premiers. 

In the final, Gold progressed through to the Grand Final after extra time based on points. 

Gold took on Tartans Tasers to take home the trophy, defeating them 2-1.
