Just over twenty years ago, on 1 March 1999, Capital Lakes Rowing Club (CLRC) was incorporated. Please join us to for dinner to celebrate this important milestone. All current and ex members of the club along with family and friends are welcome to join us for an evening of memories and fun.
From a vision:
In late 1998, David Butt and Leon Bower had a vision for a new club, with a particular focus on junior rowing for those not catered for by school programs. From nothing but that vision, CLRC is now a successful club with members of some 140 junior, master and para rowers plus coaches and parents; assets approaching $700,000; successes at ACT, NSW and national level, and overseas representation of Australia in age, elite and adaptive rowing. Most recently, the occupation of the new fine rowing facility in March 2017 has created an even stronger rowing environment.
Club members will provide a delicious three-course dinner to celebrate the evening - we simply ask that you bring your own drinks.
