We are planning a trip away to the Shoalhaven from Friday 4 September to Sunday 6 September.  You and your non rowing family members are welcome to come for the whole weekend or just a day, please see the trip plan below.  Please book your own accommodation, again please see details below.

The plan is to depart from Nowra at 7.30 am on Saturday.  We will launch from the northern side of the Shoalhaven River just opposite the Nowra rowing club and row up river for an hour or two, picnic and then return.

There will be a dinner on Saturday 5 September, probably at the same location as last year - the Pelican Rocks Seafood Restaurant at Greenwell Point.  A booking will be made for this venue closer to the event.  We are encouraging rowers to bring their partners and other family members to dinner - the more the merrier.

The next day we plan to row from Greenwell Point boat ramp heading towards the Shoalhaven Heads and if conditions permit we will venture out of the heads.  If the river mouth crossing is too "lumpy" we will make alternate plans.

There are a quite a few accommodation options at Greenwell Point not far from the restaurant.  The two venues we used last year have vacancies and are expecting calls from eager rowers.
