The 2017 Flying Doctor Rowathon promises to be another challenging and rewarding marathon rowing event with beautiful scenery, lots of good food and renewed friendships.

Wentworth District Rowing Club will again host the Rowathon with their ideal location on the banks of the Darling River; their Friday evening BBQ which is a great way to start the weekend and the Survivor’s Roast in the rowing shed on Saturday evening which is a wonderful way to finish the big day.

This year our fundraising is for the Flying Doctor Mental Health Services, which you can read more about further in the news letter however, I urge all rowers and their supporters to get behind this extremely valuable initiative of the RFDS to help them bring much needed mental health care to people in remote areas.
