COLIN PANTON MEMORIAL MARATHON

The Colin Panton Marathon is a long distance race that has been held annually on Lake Burley Griffin since 1965.
The event is named after rower Colin Leslie Panton and his coxswain son Colin Stuart Panton who tragically drowned in Lake Burley Griffin during a training session in November 1964.
The Marathon is a handicapped event open to all boat classes and crew status. It runs over an 8km course from the Boat House Restaurant to Yarramundi Reach.
Entry Fee: $8 per rowing seat.
Entries Close: 10pm Sunday 4th Oct 2015 to actra@rowingact.org.au
NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED.
Club reps have been sent a link to the entry form template. To assist with handicapping please provide as much detail as possible on entry form, eg crew ages, status, etc.
Draw: The start list will be advised on the Rowing ACT website from Thursday 8th October 2015.
