Entry to regattas organised by the NSW Cherub Association is only granted to Cherubs which have paid their regatta entry fees AND are registed with the NSW Cherub Association. Association fees may be paid through Club registration or by completing this form.

IF YOU ARE FROM LANE COVE 12ft SAILING SKIFF CLUB OR BELMONT 16S:

You do not need to pay the $80.00 Association fee here.

  • Lane Cove sailors have already paid this as part of your club registration fee. LC12ftSSC has passed this to the Cherub Association on your behalf.
  • Belmont sailors have had their fees passed on to the Association by the 16s Club.
  • Please note: you still need to pay the Race Entry fee for the whole series or the rounds at which you intend to be present only. 1x fee per boat.

 

IF YOU ARE NOT FROM LANE COVE 12ft SAILING SKIFF CLUB OR BELMONT 16S:

  • All boats are required to pay the $80.00 Association fee using this form. 1x fee per boat.
  • You will also need to pay the Race Entry fee for the whole series or the rounds at which you intend to be present. 1x fee per boat.

If you are confused, or unsure whether you need to pay, please ask. 

The NSW Cherub Association Affiliation fee goes towards operational costs associated with the State Cherub fleet generally. These costs include:

  • Insurance

  • Annual NSW Fair Trading fees

  • Australian Sailing affiliation 

  • Website costs e.g. domain fees, redevelopment or support, server fees

  • Fundraising insurance when required (e.g. market stall insurance)

  • Any shortfall in product costs for running fundraising BBQs in the unlikely event the fundraising makes a loss

  • Bank fees

  • Large upfront costs for association equipment (e.g marks, scales)

  • Maintenance and updating or upgrading of State perpetual trophies

  • Creation of new State perpetual trophies

  • Additional funds for state level prizes or individual trophies when entry fees are not sufficient to cover costs

  • Occasional miscellaneous costs incurred such as access to eftpos machine for use at events
