Welcome to Cherrybrook Athletics – this is now the registration portal for ALL athletes from our youngest Tiny Tots through to our oldest Open and Masters athletes, including our officials and Club volunteers.

·         Tiny Tots Athletics (DOB 2020-2021)

·         Little Athletics (DOB 2013-2019)

·         Junior Athletics (DOB 2006-2012)

·         Open (DOB pre-2006) including Masters (age 30-plus at December 31, 2024)

·         Officials and Club volunteers (non-athletic members) and community membership

SEASON DATES

• Club Competitions run on Friday evenings from September to March, from 4.45pm to 5.30pm for Tots, and from 5.45pm for U6 to U17 – usually finishing about 8pm – at Greenway Oval # 2 (lower oval), Shepherds Drive, Cherrybrook. (Please note, there are optional early/late events, and all our athletes are welcome to compete either in their respective age groups or U17s for older athletes.)
• Little Athletics, NSW Athletics, & Masters Association summer season events run variously from late August to May 2025 including national events. Season calendars are available on our website.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE YOU REGISTER – PLEASE READ:

Club Competition Night requirements for families of Tots to U15 athletes:

·         At least ONE parent/carer per family is required to be AT THE OVAL AT ALL TIMES while your athletes are present at Club Competitions on Fridays. This is for the safety and wellbeing of your own children – St John Ambulance CANNOT treat an injured or unwell child without a parent/carer present.

·         For Tots to U6: At least ONE parent/carer must remain with and supervise/assist their athlete and Age Manager during the session.

·         For U7-U15: At least ONE parent/carer per family is required to undertake a duty every TWO out of three weeks – such as starting, time-keeping, measuring, record-keeping, raking, BBQ and canteen, photography. We are a volunteer-run club and as such we require everyone to help out to be able to run a full program of events each week. (If you are physically or for another reason unable to undertake any available duty, please contact us – there are plenty of admin/behind the scenes duties we also need help with!) At the start of each session, parents/carers must let their athlete(s)’ respective Age Managers know which duty they are on, and when not on a rostered duty must be actively assisting an Age Manager supervise athletes or run events.

·         At least ONE parent/carer (whoever will be present and undertaking regular duties) must complete a Working With Children Check declaration – either provide your WWCC number if you already have one, or simply sign a declaration as a parent/career volunteer.

NSW Athletics events requirements for Junior and Open/Masters athletes:

·         Families, friends and older athletes will be required at times to volunteer to assist officials running events. At major events, the Club will be assigned duties which must be fulfilled, but we encourage all our athletic families to assist whenever they can/is needed.

HOW TO REGISTER: 

• Online registrations only are permitted.
• Access the Cherrybrook Athletics registration via the NEW MEMBER button or RETURNING MEMBER button for all athletes who have previously been registered with either Little Athletics or NSW Athletics.
• Enter your details and pay securely online.
• Active Kids vouchers for eligible age groups must be redeemed at the point of registration. If you would like to use an Active Kids voucher but cannot see the redemption option prior to confirming payment, please contact memberships@nswathletics.org.au. Unfortunately, Active Kids vouchers cannot be applied after your membership purchase has been finalised.
• Transactions incur a service provider processing fee.
• Once your registration is complete, you will receive an email confirming your payment from RevSports.
• No refunds will be given. Please see the Little Athletics/NSW Athletics Refund Policy.

For Tots, Little Athletics and Junior Athletics:

Print and complete one Working With Children Check (WWCC) Declaration form per adult attending/assisting on Friday nights and bring, along with photo ID, to Registration Finalisation.

For Junior and Open/Masters Athletes:

Please note, to be eligible to compete in NSW Athletics events, you must be a registered athlete by 10am Wednesday of the week before a scheduled event.

NSW MASTERS ATHLETICS

• Athletes older than age 30 (at December 31, 2024) are also eligible for NSW Masters membership. Please select Open Membership Category.
• NSW Masters members are able to compete at state and national Masters events, and international competitions such as Oceania Masters and World Masters Championships.
• Athletes compete in five-year age groups for both men and women.

UNIFORMS: 

All athletes are required to wear correct Cherrybrook Athletics uniform at all Club Competition, gala days and interclub events, and all Little Athletics and NSW Athletics events.

• Tots should wear Cherrybrook Tots T-shirt and suitable shorts/bike pants
• All U6 and older athletes should wear a Cherrybrook club singlet or crop top plus plain black shorts/bike pants/skins etc
• Cherrybrook logo shorts, hoodies and other items are also available
• Uniform can be viewed/tried on and purchased/ordered at the clubhouse at Greenway Oval at the Registration Finalisation days or on Friday Club Competition nights between 5.30pm and 6.30pm.
