Gosford City Hockey club yesterday claimed their 3rd Hunter Coast Mens Premier Hockey League title in a row, defeating Norths 3-2 in a close fought game.

Goals to Rhiley Carr from a penalty corner set piece in the 18th min and Hugh Wickert blasted home a shot from the top of the circle in the 30th min to take a 2-0 lead into halftime.

A 5 min yellow card to Goalkeeper Nick Holman at the start of the 3rd quarter saw Norths score 2 quick goals to square the ledger going into the final quarter.

Jake Wigham broke through for the winner with a neat deflection in the 58th min and Gosford managed to hold on for the win.
