Local player and Australian U21 Mens player Michael Taylor has continued his successful season with being awarded the Player of the Tournament at the recent Div 1 Opens Mens State Championships held in Wyong. 

Michael was part of the Central Coast Mens team that made the semi finals but couldnt get past the Metro South West team after. 1-1 draw.

Michael managed a hat-trick of goals against North West Sydney and wins against Lithgow and a narrow loss to Illawarra.

Michael is looking forward to finishing the season with his Gosford team in the Hunter Coast Premier League and Norwest Strikers in the Sydney League before starting the Hockey One campaign with the NSW Pride
