WELCOME TO THE HUNTER HURRICANES WATER POLO CLUB !!

The Hunter Hurricanes Water Polo Club competes in the Australian Water Polo League (AWL), Australia’s premier domestic water polo competition.

Ten clubs representing five States compete in the annual national competition over a five-month period, starting in January.  The league comprises both men’s and women’s teams, and the Hunter Hurricanes field a squad in each competition.

The Club  also enters junior representative teams from U/12's through to U/22's boys and girls in both State and National Championships each year. 

The Hurricanes are based at Lambton Pool and have produced some of the country's top elite juniors.
