The Northern California International Dragon Boat Festival is 100% volunteer-run, so we need your help to ensure this race goes smoothly. We encourage each participating team to rally four (4) non-paddling volunteers to help out for volunteer shifts. While we prefer that volunteers can stay all day during the weekend, we understand if there may be other obligations. Additionally, if you cannot stay for the whole day, we will have two shifts per day, Shift A in the morning and Shift B in the afternoon. Please sign up here. Thank you!

• What should I bring and wear on race day?
• Wear water-resistant clothing (e.g. team jersey, shorts, gym attire, bathing suit underneath, etc.)
• DO NOT WEAR JEANS, COTTON, OR FLEECE BECAUSE YOU WILL GET WET! You may wish to wear water-resistant shoes or go barefoot in the boats. Flip flops are NOT recommended in the boat.
• Optional but recommended: hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, water gloves
• Do not wear a watch or jewelry that you do not want to get wet
• Bring a towel, change of clothes and shoes, water/sports drink, and lunch/snacks
• Bring a camera!
