CHA will be running Foundation Support Coaching Course on Wednesday15 February 2023.

The course is aimed at teachers, parents and other new coaches who coach within Hookin2Hockey, CHA development programs, and with the CHA Hockey Heroes program.

The Foundation or Community Coach course is designed to train coaches in the basic concepts of coaching including group management and organisation; conducting modified games and activities; safety and enjoyment

CHA will be conducting a presentation discussing some key factors during for session planning and coaching during training sessions and during competitive or non-competitve games.

Following the CHA delivered presentation attendees will have to register with HockeyEd and complete the online component which is an enjoyable and straightforward training program involving an online learning session, an applied learning quiz. Attendees will also have to complete a practical assesment before being accredited.
