The Cairns Cycling Club are hosting a free event on Sunday 16th February 2025 to share a ride and story as we remember Luke Azzopardi. Luke Azzopardi was a cherished member of our cycling community, known for his kindness, humility, and exceptional riding skills. His dedication to fostering camaraderie and his unwavering community spirit left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

This social, no-drop ride brings together cyclists of all levels, reflecting Luke's inclusive nature and passion for the sport. Following the ride, we gather at our clubhouse for a breakfast, sharing stories and memories that celebrate Luke's life and the positive impact he had on our community.

The ride will start from the Cairns Cycling Club at 6:30am and will be followed by a light breakfast. Anyone is invited to participate. More details on the ride routes will be available over the coming weeks.
