Registrations for this event are closed.
As we wrap up another sailing season, we invite you to join us for the Sailors’ Season Debrief Session. This is your chance to reflect on the season, provide feedback, and help shape the improvements for next year.
This structured but open discussion will cover:
- Race management & regattas (scheduling, formats)
- Training & development (coaching, skills, pathways for all sailors)
- Communication & engagement (club updates, social events, volunteer support)
- Volunteers & Race Support (support, recognition and growth)
- Future improvements (new initiatives, format changes, vision for the club)
We’d like you to consider your views on:
Keelboat sailors:
- Are you interested in two races on Aggregate days, with racing consisting of fewer laps?
- Hybrid racing - Is there interest in on-the-wind starts, racing around club course marks? Why or why not?
- Is there interest in continuing Friday twilight racing in March until the end of day-light savings?
Off the beach sailors:
- Did you prefer having two races on Aggregate days?
- What is the level of interest in mid-week racing in early January?
- Would you like to see different racing formats, e.g. round robins, team racing, novelty races, and what would you forgo for any new formats?
- What is the level of interest in Friday twilight racing in February, in March?
- What would you like to see on Pink Day (keelboat Lady Skippers race)?
Sportsboat sailors:
- What do you need to increase the number of sportsboat sailors who regularly race?
- What changes can be made to the race schedule to allow for increased participation?
Powerboaters:
- What events or activities would you like to see on the program?
- How can we better connect you with club events and activities?
New members looking to connect with fellow sailors are especially encouraged to attend!
