Welcome to the Bundy BuoyantBods - Surf Swim Group program! This program is part of Surf Life Saving Australia's Silver Salties initiative, supported by State Centres and funded by Sport Australia through the Move It - Better Ageing Grant program. Silver Salties is a physical activity and social connections initiative for older Australians, but all ages are welcome!

The Bundy BuoyantBods - Surf Swim Group program is all about enjoyment, fitness and social interaction with like-minded people catering for all speeds; slow, medium & fast. No participant will be alone.

All participants in this program should have a good to very good mobility and high to very high fitness levels & be able to swim 200m comfortably in a pool.

Why don't you stay for a coffee at our local Beach Mill cafe at the conclusion of the swim.

There is no fee to be involved, and participants are encouraged to wear appropriate swimwear, bring a water bottle, towel and be sun-safe. All COVID-19 precautions are also in place i.e. stay at home if unwell, social distancing, good hand hygiene, coughing/sneezing etiquette etc.

The Surf Swim Group program will commence on Sunday 17th January and run every Sunday from 8am until the 21st March. Participants are welcome to attend as often as they can!

Registration Options

Register for the program by following one of the options below:

1. Click on the REGISTER button at the top of this page and follow the steps to register online – you will be able to use your Members area login details to register;

2. Download the Registration Form and Participant Declaration at the bottom of this page, complete the forms and email them to Jen Swan: surfsports@bundabergslsc.com.au;

3. Download the Registration Form and Participant Declaration at the bottom of this page, complete the forms and bring them with you to your first session;

4. Fill out a a registration form and sign a waiver when you arrive for your first session.
