Conduct Briefing to be held on the lower deck, on Saturday 21st September at 9am to 10am.
This session will be for all those who are involved in sailing activities, other than the sailors. This will include race officials, safety and support boat crews, instructors, and coaches.
Our intention is to ensure that we as those who run the activities, first understand what our part in this challenge is, before we then communicate it more widely with the sailing membership, and others involved.
The content will cover the scope of the Racing rules of sailing and how they apply, but also more in depth clarifications of how these rules may be applied.
Following this initial briefing there will a “Conduct Briefing for all sailors” planned currently for the second sailing Saturday of the season (to be confirmed).
We are also planning various other sessions to indirectly support this initiative which will include Rules sessions, and other presentations.
