We are looking for people eager to volunteer at the upcoming Optimist Nationals being held at BSYC in January 2024. We are expecting to have over 200 young sailors, so as you can imagine we need all hands on deck! BSYC has been shaped by the unwavering support of members and the public alike for many generations. We implore you to put up your hand and get involved, no job is too small and there is something avaliable for every skill set.

There are a large range of volunteer positions avaliable:

Event marshalls, measurers, registration desk assistants, radio operators, first aid officers, beach/boat park marshalls, saftey boat operators, start/finish/pin/mark boat drivers and crew, tractor drivers, hospitality helpers (sausage sizzles/breakfast/canteen) and more.

This form is the first stage in nominating to volunteer at Optimist Nationals. In the coming weeks, there will be another electronic sign up sheet sent to those that register their interest using this form.
