SA BOAT LICENCE EXAM

PASS AND GET A LICENCE

This 3 hours session will include a Powerpoint Theory refresher with a Marine Safety Officer followed by the exam. Participants who pass will be provided with a application for licence stamped and endorsed by the officer. They can then go to Service SA to obtain the licence with no further testing required. The form will be valid for 6 months. This method of exam is ideal as the refresher will help all participants pass more easily. It is however important that all involved undertake some study prior to this event by reading through the 'Recreational Boating Safety Handbook' and having a couple of goes at the 'On Deck - Online Practice Test'. For youngsters under 16 (12-15) A practical needs to be completed to obtain the special permit. We can facilitate this at the club for no further cost.
