Our Purpose

Is to provide a friendly, family oriented club for the enjoyment of high quality dinghy sailing on the Brisbane River.

The Clubhouse

The clubhouse comprises an upper and lower level with the lower level for storage of over 40 boats and change-room facilities. The Canteen and Bar is located on the upper level along with the deck are and hall that are used for race briefings and social gatherings. The hall is available for hire for certain types of social functions by members and community groups subject to approval by the Management Committee.

Rigging Areas

The area at the downstream end of the club is available, along with space around and in front of the BSS Clubhouse. Three launching ramps are available, with the middle ramp being the widest.

Parking

There is limited parking inside the visitors rigging area together with a carpark at the end of Quay St and on-street parking. The Bulimba Golf Club has a carpark which we can use when all other parking is exhausted.

Moorings

The club has a small number of moorings available for short to long term hire.
