Members celebrate the 23_24 season

A good turnout of members gathered recently to celebrate the season just finished and to honour the achievments and contributions by the many who made last year another success. Congratulations to Hariet and Bryan who took out the Club Championships in the monohull and multihull divisions respectively. Bryan doubled down to also win the Handicap Series, and Neale was the winner of that series in the monohulls. Willow and Zac were encouragement award recipients and 'most improved' went to Sonya (multihulls) and Simon and Anna (monohulls). Chris and Bella continued the trend of first year members earning the 'Swimmers Award' and whilst other committments made it difficult for Nathan and Scooter to feature in the series results, they were none the less recognised for their outstanding performances, winning every race they competed in. Hariet gave thanks to the committe members and other volunteers who all made valuable contributions to the club's running, with a special mention to Wayne (Frank Wallis Award), the ever reliable Rod, and Jan who is retiring from the committe and who will be sadly missed.
