Gympie hosts the 2020 Ashley Birt Memorial Cup

The 2020 event will be hosted by Cooloola Heat and Gympie District Hockey Association. We would love you to come along to be part of this very special day as we pay tribute to our great mate CPL Ashley Birt. KIA - Afghanistan 29-10-11.
Ash was a member of Gympie's Cooloola Heat and Maryborough's Brothers Hockey Associations. Ash's team mates are honored to play this tribute match every year.
On the day, Cooloola Heat will be raising funds for the 42for42 not-for-profit organisation to go toward building a Memorial Garden in the grounds of Suncorp Stadium.
The women's match will begin at 5.00PM followed by the men at 6.30PM.
Canteen and Dribbler's Bar will be open - stocked with cold drinks and delicious food!
Come along to enjoy some great hockey with your friends and family.
