Australian Sailing recognises that privacy is important and providing personal information is an act of trust. Australian Sailing takes that seriously, and will manage your Information only in accordance with its Privacy Policy available at: https://www.sailing.org.au/about/privacy-policy/

Individuals must promptly advise their Affiliated Club of any change of name, address or other relevant identification and contact details, either in writing or electronically.

Individuals acknowledge and consent to Australian Sailing’s use of their personal information for the purpose of sending electronically or by other means, newsletters from Australian Sailing and Affiliated Clubs, which may include information of sponsors or other third parties.

DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
Attention is drawn to the RRS Part 1, Fundamental Rules 3 DECISION TO RACE - “The responsibility for a boat’s decision to participate in a race or to continue racing is hers alone.”

Competitors participate in events entirely at their own risk.

The organizing authority namely the Brisbane Valley Sailing Club Inc (BVSC) & SEQWater will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after events.

BVSC MEMBERSHIP

The membership of the BVSC shall consist of any of the following classes of members:-

1. Adult Member - any sailing member 18 years of age and over.
2.  Junior Member - any sailing member 17 years of age and under on the 31st of August. 
3. Student Member -  over the age of 18 and a full-time student
4. Life Member - with a view to recognising exceptional services to BVSC, BVSC may elect members as life members. A life member shall be exempt from payment of subscription to BVSC and shall be entitled to all the privileges and benefits of senior membership thereof. A Life member still racing will be required to pay a Race Fee.
5. Associate Member - any non-sailing person, other than a boat owner. 
6. Family Subscription - entitles a family to 2 adult memberships, and Junior membership to all 17 years and under. 
7. Temporary Member- entitles a participant to three (3) race days at no cost.  Race fees are required to be paid.

RACE FEES

The standard adult race fee of $12/day is payable before racing 

The standard junior race fee of $2/day is payable before racing
