2025 U18 REPRESENTATIVE PROGRAM DETAILS
Eligibility
You must be a Primary Registered BWHA Member to nominate for a Brisbane Representative Team
As per the BWHA Operations Manual, players must only represent their respective age group.
Age for each Selection Group:
- U12: players must be turning 11 or 12 in the current year
- U14: players must be turning 13 or 14 in the current year
- U16: players must be turning 15 or 16 in the current year
- U18: players must be turning 17 or 18 in the current year
- Open: Players must be turning 18 or over in the current year
- Masters: Players must be turning 34 or over in the current year
U18 Representative Birth Years for 2025: 2007 – 2008
Tournament Dates:
- U18 Southern Cross: 23rd March - Sunshine Coast
- U18 State Championships: 25th April - 28th April - Townsville
Fees:
- Trial Nomination Fee per Player: $55.00
- Tournament Cost per Selected Player: $TBA
Trial Dates: Players are expected to attend all trial dates listed below:
- Trial 1: Monday, 24th February, 6:30 PM - 10:00 PM at Brisbane North Hockey Centre
- Trial 2: Sunday, 2nd March, 7:00 AM - 11:30 AM at Brisbane North Hockey Centre
If selected for a Southern Cross team, players are required to attend one training session on Sunday 16th March.
If selected for a State Championships team, players must attend three training sessions on the following dates:
- Sunday, 23rd March
- Sunday, 6th April
Nominations Close: Monday, 10th February at 9am.
Late nominations will not be accepted.
