2025 U14 Representative Program Details

Age & Eligibility Requirements for Selection Group

• Must be a Full-Time Primary Registered BWHA Member.
• Age Group: U14 players must be born in 2011 or 2012 (turning 13 or 14 in 2025).

Tournament Dates

• U14 Southern Cross: 18th May (Warwick)
• U14 State Championships: 29th June - 2nd July (Toowoomba)

Costs

• Trial Nomination Fee per Player: $60.00
• Tournament Cost per Selected Player: $350.00
• Playing Uniform: BWHA playing uniforms in 2025 will need to be purchased by all individual players. Details and costs will be outlined in early 2025.

Travel & Accommodation

After careful consideration and in light of various logistical factors, it has been decided that the Under 14 and Under 16 BWHA representative teams will not travel as a group for tournaments in 2025. This decision follows an evaluation of the significant costs associated with travel and accommodation, as well as the number of parents already planning to travel to these events. Additionally, considerations around player behaviour and the substantial volunteer commitment required for team travel have influenced this outcome.

As a result, for tournaments held within the South East Queensland (SEQ) region in 2025, the responsibility for travel and accommodation will rest solely with the individual players. Each player will be expected to make their own arrangements to attend these events, ensuring greater flexibility for families and a more sustainable approach to team logistics.

• Trial 1: Sunday, 9th March, 6:45 AM - 11:30 AM (Brisbane North Hockey Centre)
• Trial 2: Sunday, 16th March, 6:45 AM - 11:30 AM (Brisbane North Hockey Centre)
• Trial 3: Sunday, 30th March, 6:45 AM - 11:30 AM (State Hockey Centre)

Training for Selected Players

• Sunday, 22nd June
