BWHA Social Hockey - Term 3 2024

Venue: Brisbane North Hockey Centre (Burringbar Park – Kittyhawk Drive, Chermside)

Time: 9.30am to 11.00am, arrive by 9.15am to be placed in teams

Dates: Term 3 will be 8 week program - 11th Jul, 18th Jul, 25th Jul, 1st Aug, 8th Aug, 15th Aug, 22nd Aug & 29th Aug

Cost: The cost is $12 per participant. Each week, participants will check in using a QR code and will receive an invoice from BWHA.

What to Bring: 1 white & 1 black shirt, hockey stick, shin guards, and other personal protective equipment. Players can wear any coloured pant/skirt and socks and should bring a water bottle and encouraged to wear sunscreen.

If you are new to hockey and are not a registered member of a Hockey Queensland club, you will need to register with Hockey Australia/Hockey Queensland prior to taking the field. Please complete the following link – https://www.revolutionise.com.au/brisbanehockey/registration

Rules:

• Full Field or half field game of hockey with 2 even number of teams
• Goal Keepers optional
• No umpires required – honesty system
• All normal rules of senior hockey apply except for pushing only on penalty corners with a goal keeper, or long corners only if no goal keeper on a team
