2024 U12 REPRESENTATIVE PROGRAM DETAILS

Eligibility

You must be a Primary Registered BWHA Member to nominate for a Brisbane Representative Team

U12 Representative players must meet the following criteria to be eligible to nominate:

1. 1. The team the player is registered in must be from their Clubs top U12 turf team and/or top under 12 grass team or an U14 team if playing higher or
   2. BWHA has directly invited them to nominate, through talent identification at a BWHA development program.

As per the BWHA Operations Manual, players must only represent their respective age group.

Age for each Selection Group:

1. U12: players must be turning 11 or 12 in the current year
2. U14: players must be turning 13 or 14 in the current year
3. U16: players must be turning 15 or 16 in the current year
4. U18: players must be turning 17 or 18 in the current year
5. Open: Players must be turning 19 or over in the current year
6. Masters: Players must be turning 34 or over in the current year

U12 Representative Birth Years for 2024 are 2012 – 2013.


Southern Cross: Sunday August 4th - Downey Park

Trial Nomination Fee Per Player: $45.00

Tournament Cost Per Selected Player: $45.00

Players are expected to be available to attend all trial dates as listed below:

Trial 1 - Sunday, 26 May 2024 - 7.00am to 11.30am, Field 1, DP

Trial 2 - Sunday, 2 June 2024 - 7.00am to 11.30am, Field 1, DP

Trial 3 - Sunday, 9 June 2024 - 7.00am to 11.30am, Field 1, DP

Southern Cross Teams will be announced by 5pm on Wednesday, June 12, 2024

If selected in a Southern Cross team, players will be required to attend 5 training sessions on the following dates:

Sundays June 23, July 7, July 14, July 21, and July 28

Nominations Close: Wednesday May 15, 2024, at 12pm

Late nominations will not be accepted.
