BSA extends an invitation to teams to participate in the U18 League to be held Friday nights over a series of weeks commencing 18/10/2024.
The purpose is to continue to build a platform for players in this age category to compete against a larger selection of players in their own age level.
Retaining players in this age group and continuing to provide opportunities that encourage player participation is a priority.
- U18 League will be separate competition to the BSA 2024/2025 Summer Saturday fixtures with teams invited from current BSA Clubs and other District Associations
- U18 League will be a girl’s only competition that will play 5 Friday nights plus finals night
- Confirmation of team EOI due Wednesday 9th October 2024 to secretary@brisbanesoftball.com.au
- All registration processes must be completed prior to participation in any game
- Fee Structure for participants in U18 League:
- BSA or Permit Players/Officials participating in BSA 2024/2025 Summer Saturday fixtures – (SAL/SQI Registration or Permit process already completed)
- $65/Player
- NO charge Officials
- BSA registered only, not participating in BSA 2024/2025 Summer Saturday fixtures – (SAL/SQI Registration must be completed in addition to U18 League fee)
- $65/Player plus SAL/SQI 14-17 yrs $61.15
- On Diam Official $48.53 SAL/SQI only (Coach/Asst Coach/Scorer)
- Off Diam Official $35.75 SAL/SQI only (Manager)
- Non BSA registered, not participating in BSA 2024/2025 Summer Saturday fixtures (other DA teams) – (SAL/SQI Registration must be completed under home DA, permit process must be completed)
- $65/Player
- NO charge Officials
- Note: - NO U18 Competition will be run in the BSA 2024/2025 Summer Saturday fixtures. Age eligible U18 players are permitted to register in senior grades suitable to individual player skill level.
- U18 Girls League age eligibility:
- 17 & 16 years as at 31 December 2024 (/2007, 2008 DOB)
- Development players – 15 & 14 years as at 31 December 2024 (2009, 2010 DOB)
- Maximum 8 teams
- Game times Friday night, 6pm and 8.00pm, Diam 1 and Diam 2
- In event of wash out, games may be reallocated within the existing schedule, if possible
- Maximum time allowed will be 90 minutes from scheduled starting time
If you have a team, or players interested in participating but are unable to field a full team, please let us know to assist with possibly combining with another team, or directing individuals that may not have a team to participate in.
