Summer Comp Registrations Now Open

Registrations are now open for the 2017 Briars Summer Comp; please use the attached competition registration forms to enter a team. The competition structure will be as follows:

• Structure – Tuesday nights (Competitive); Wednesday nights (Juniors U9, U11 and U13); Thursday nights (social); and Friday nights (Juniors U15 and U17). Please note, the acceptance of team nominations is not automatic; it is at the discretion of the competition coordinators and teams should register in a level appropriately matched to their players’ abilities.
• Player Numbers – 7 players on the field at any one time including a minimum of 2 female players at all times. Up to 3 substitution players on the bench at any one time. Maximum 10 players per team.
• Dates – Competition commences the week of Tuesday 10 October and runs for 8 consecutive weeks, followed by finals which will be played in the week of Tuesday 5 December.
• Times – Game times are generally 6.30 pm, 7.30 pm and 8.30 pm and teams will be allocated across all timeslots to ensure fairness across the competition.
• Cost (Seniors) - $625 per team which must be paid prior to the first game. NOTE: Players who did not participate in a winder competition and who were not registered through Hockey NSW this year and also required to register through our portal for Insurance Cover and select 'Summer Hockey' on the Registration Type Drop Down Box - https://www.revolutionise.com.au/briarshockey/registration/
• Cost (Juniors) - $470 per team or $55 per player for individual registrations (players who are not part of a team) and which must be paid prior to the first game. NOTE: Players who did not play a winter competition and who were not registered through Hockey NSW this year are also required to register through our portal for Insurance Cover and select 'Summer Hockey' on the Registration Type Drop Down Box - https://www.revolutionise.com.au/briarshockey/registration/
• Registration – Registrations are now open (registration forms attached to this email) and should be submitted to summerhockey@outlook.com or register via the Event Portal https://www.revolutionise.com.au/briarshockey/events/11504/
• Umpires – All teams will be allocated a game to cover each week. It is your responsibility to have someone allocated to cover this game. Umpires will be paid $20 per game on the night.

• Night Co-Ordinator – We are looking for Coordinator’s for each week night of the competition who will be responsible for time and result keeping as well as paying umpires and running the canteen (RSA required). Payment will be advised on application. Please email summerhockey@outlook.com if you are interested.
• Payments – this year we will be accepting payments either via our Revolutionise Portal – register via Event Page - https://www.revolutionise.com.au/briarshockey/events/11504/ or via EFT transfer to our bank account. When making your payment to the bank account, please ensure you include your team / name and a reference to summer hockey so that all transactions can be identified.
