On August 6th, Athletics North Quensland will be conducting an Oceania Technical Officials Seminar (OTOS - equivilant to Athletics Australia Level 1 Officials Course). Without the support of the officals who volunteer their time and expertise the sport would not be run effectively nor will competitions be able to run. It is encourages that anyone thinking about getting involved in officiating attend the course. This course is perfect for any parents or newcomers in the sport who areintrested in learnign the rulls or wish to gain an undertsanding of how to run the events. 

The course will be run from 9:00am - 1:00pm and will be held at the Townsville Sports House (Townsville Sports Reserve).
