Bluejays Softball Club has been an integral part of the Gawler and District Softball Association (GDSA) since the club’s inception in 1986. The club started with a group of women in their 30’s - 40’s who wanted to get together and have fun playing a team sport – softball. As the years went on their children also wanted to play and so our junior program started.
Bluejays Softball Club celebrated 30 wonderful years in 2016 with a 30 Year Anniversary event that saw past and present players in attendance. We have been a strong club in the GDSA, winning numerous premierships over the years, including back to back premierships in Division II in 2013/14, 2014/15 and again Division II Premiers in 2018/19 and more recently Divison I Premiers in 2022/23 season. The club currently has two senior teams (Div I and Div II) and an Under 17 Team.
